Program Overview

The Master of Science in Business Management program is joint master program between Hanoi School of Business and prestigious foreign partner – IPAG Business School at Vietnam.

This Master program is developed by IPAG Business School, France in partnership with Hanoi School of Business, Vietnam National University. It aims at providing the delegates with a wide range of necessary managerial skills for any top management positions in any organization. Experimented and well-known experts from the IPAG Business School faculty as well as from its university partners, who teach business administration through a combination of strong academic knowledge and case studies, offer the unique opportunity to discuss and treat business problems from a multidisciplinary approach. The program particularly values the real experiences from the delegates and makes it possible for everyone to share their managerial experiences. The length of program is 18-22 months, 60 ECTS. The classes are all taught in English

 Admission requirements 

All candidates for our Master program should fulfill the below requirements: 

–          A university (academic) degree of at least 4 years of study from an institution that is recognized by the relevant authorities. 

–          The official language of instruction of the Master of Science in Business Management being English, proficiency in English is absolutely essential to be granted admission. If your native language is not English, you must submit evidence of proficiency in the English language by presenting: 

a. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score (88 internet-based test; 570 paper-based test)/ OR

b. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score (6.5 academic test) 

The language proficiency requirement can be waived under specific circumstances. Please ask the Admissions Office for more details.  

Admission procedures 

Admission to the Master of Science in Business Management is on a competitive basis. To apply for this Master program, please submit following documents:

  Career opportunities 

The designed academic program of the Master of Science in Business Management exposes delegates to a wide range of possible executive and strategic positions within organizations and in various organizational functions such as Executive Director, Chief Strategy Officer, Director of Business Development, Project Manager, etc. These functions generally require innovative impacts on corporate business at both national and international levels.

Total program includes 13 courses (which is equivalent to 60 credits in accordance with European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System – ECTS) and lasts for 18 months. After graduation, learners will be able to be assigned to certain high-rank leadership position within enterpreneurs, socio-economic and governmental institutions, or advisors for leaders in doing business. MANAGEMENT OF NON-TRADITIONAL SECURITY

(MNS) 

This program possesses a unique design not only in Vietnam but also in Asia and around the world. It attempts to provide society a generation with Master on Management of Non-Traditional Security, those who have in-depth interdisciplinary knowledge, strategic thinking, planning and organizing skills in order to have enough abilities to control and prevent potential insecurities, losses and criminals that are currently posing great threats to security and sustainable development of enterprises, organizations and society as a whole.

MNS program was designed with the cooperation of interdisciplinary experts in Vietnam and abroad. The outcomes of this master program can be classified into three main profession groups:

i. Leaders and policy makers who directly involve in the process of policy development for socio-economic development, security management, economic management, natural disaster management, and social issues management at different levels (i.e., international, national, regional and local levels).

ii. Board of management, internal control, risk control, security & legislation, and non-traditional security experts who work for Vietnamese enterprises, FDI enterprises, political and civil organizations, international organizations, etc.

iii. University-based researchers and lecturers who participate in teaching different interdisciplinary subjects related to non-traditional security managements, strategic studies, international studies, diplomatic relation, sustainable development, etc.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

(HSB-MBA)

HSB-MBA program is designed and conducted fully in English by HSB in cooperation with the Business School, University of Queensland, Australia. The program’s 64-credit is the most extensive MBA in Vietnam so far. The training period will be from18-24 months during weekends. Learners will be able to acquire necessary knowledge and skills in order to cope with potential challenges oftheir future careers. HSB commits to accompany students with full supports and guidance from its staff and its partners.

 Admission requirements:

– Prerequisites: a bachelor’s degree; B2 or IELTS 5.5 equivalent levels of English.
– Admission test: candidates will attend the entrance examination, including: GRE, Principles of Management and English examination.
